The seller is abusive, threatening, sent me over 20 emails......If ebay won't do something about this person , which I have tried to complain about, I will remove myself from e-bay to solve the problem.... Please read all of the e-mails between myself and the seller.........Ebay has made it impossible to file a serious complaint .........I'm very soon will be tired of this whole e-bay system that doesn't do much to help a buyer...........Will

You can take any or all of the steps below:
1. Use the Actions > Report Message option in the messages.
2. Use the Actions > Block the Member option in the messages.
2. Report the seller here: https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
3. Contact eBay and ask for a call back here: https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkpid
If you received an item that is not as described, you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
It sounds like you have let the return process drag on for weeks so I hope you haven't let the deadline to pass to get help from eBay on the return. If you haven't, go back to the case and use the option to ask eBay to step in now. If you did like the deadline pass, then eBay won't be able to help, so contact your credit card company for assistance.

Hi @cat-alex
If you are talking about one of the sellers you left negative feedback … the messages will likely stop after 30 days. [That’s the length of time for the feedback to be advised.]
I’m very sorry this is happening. We have no access toyour messages with the seller … as we are fellow members, not eBay.

My question is ?? Where is ebay when this is going on ?? I have been a member of e-bay since they started and have never run in to this kind of a sell , over a 180.00 item......This person is a "nut job" and its going to cost e-bay a lot of very bad PR and I will probably quit ebay because they let this get out of hand......I have been trying to contact e-bay about this for three days and cannot connect with anyone, so where is the problem ?? A abusive seller, e-bay or me ??? That's the problem with modern communication, there is none............Thanks for your help, but it's ebay that has side-step a big problem that they what somebody else to deal with...........Its too bad.............Will

eBay does not read the messages you send back and forth. There are likely a billion messages sent between members each day. They do not escalate the case until you ask them to because they have no idea whether or how you resolved it.
eBay hasn't side-stepped anything. They have given you many tools to resolve this - all you have to do is use them. I gave you the instructions for actions you can take. Unless you take them, then nothing will be done. (I have never NOT had a callback returned within a minute or two after requesting one, but personally I would take all the other actions I suggested and forget about the call back in your case. It's not necessary if you take the other steps.

Sir: This is so typical of the answers we get on forums, the problem is the seller is abusive in many ways, I never expect to get my money, it's not the issue....The issue is the seller has made statements the e-bay said this and that on the internet which are un true......This has gone on for over 20 emails, this guy is nuts and should never be on e-bay because of that.......People have to have some control or somebody has to keep them in control or they get out of control....All over a returned 180.00 piece of damage goods, He won't send a return label, all he does is send abusive emails, and nobody keeps him in control........And e-bay can't set up a system where they just get rid of them, problem solved.......I spend thousands of dollars a week on e-bay and I'm ready to quit after thirty some years........E-bay can keep my share.....Of the head aches............Thanks Will

Yes, my response is typical of the answers you get on these forums because the answer is what will solve your problem.
eBay does not know about the problem unless you report it. I gave you the reporting mechanisms available to you. It appears you are getting more satisfaction out of complaining than taking action for some reason. Most people would want their money back on a transaction such as yours, but if you don't want it back and if you don't want eBay to know that the seller didn't follow through on the return, then ignore what I wrote and take the loss.

Sir: As you can see nobody is in the fix mode, Us as buyers on e-bay have no voice, no answers....E-bay doesn't care anymore, we are in a business that goes no where, we are in a business that has no answers.......We have let everything get out of control and then we look at it and say "what happened".............I stayed with e-bay all these years because of the policies , but no one cares about rules, or policies......I am from the old school, Don't, lie, Don't cheat, and Don't steal from others......Will

Sir: I have been on ebay over thirty years, I have never received the emails from a seller like this......The part you are not getting is I have received over 20 emails from this sellers, I have been on this computer for no less that two weeks trying to get something done......I am 81 years old, live by myself, do laundry, cut grass, take care of a 5 bed-room house, build tube electronics, and try and understand a computer without any help and waste hour after hour on this problem that you want to tell me is my problem.....You are correct in saying that, but I'm on here trying to find help which from people that are supposed to help people like myself.....I hardly know a "link from a email".........You obviously have been trained by e-bay to give confusing answers, so that I cannot get anything done, well you win, I haven't learned anything........Thanks for your help.........Will

This is a member-to-member board. I don't work for eBay nor have I been trained by eBay - I'm a member like yourself, and I'm volunteering my time to try to help you. If my answer isn't clear, then rather than attempt to insult me, just tell me what isn't clear so I can try to make it clear. But if you expect something to happen by taking no action yourself, you will have a long wait. As I said, eBay doesn't know you have a problem unless you report it.
I'll repeat what I've already provided and add more detail and maybe that will help.
1. Use the Actions > Report Message option in the messages, as shown in screenshot taken from inside the messages you received.
2. Use the Actions > Block the Member option in the messages, as shown in screenshot taken from inside the messages you received.
3. Report the seller by clicking this link and filling out the form: https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
When you click Report a seller, you'll see this next:
When you click Continue, you'll see this next:
After filling in the information, click Submit.
4. Contact eBay and ask for a call back by clicking this link and then click the Have us call you button: https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkpid
You can go back to the case you opened and click the button to ask eBay to step in. You can get to the case using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History.

Sir: I don't mean to insult anyone, I have a problem that is not of my making, I have been trying for a week to solve it, since this problem is new to me , then the solutions are new to me......I still use a "Flip Phone", when I have to send pictures it takes a while........When ebay submits the solutions before the problem its hard to figure out where they are coming from, sometimes the people on the forums do the same thing, they try to figure out the person instead of the problem.....I am trying to deal with the problem that brings me here, not the money........I am a world famous amplifier builder, I don't need some "Nut Job" criticizing my products over something that has nothing to do with my products.........That's why the money is not important , its principle............This person has gone so far as to say ebay said " they caught me in some dis-honest practice" Does this make any sense ?? So that is where I'm coming from and I don't like it one bit.............W

Sir: I didn't thank you for sending that form, you don't know how easy that helps the problem....Now I can send something to e-bay that will actually go somewhere................W

Mr: Inceptions....Please let me thank you again for your help, I don't know if I will get any help but I was able to send the complaint.........After this is over , I think its time for me to quit the e-bay system and go fishing............W
