Hi I recently moved from the UK to US, my account was setup for seller payments with managed payments with Ebay a few months ago. As a result, I can't seem to update my country now and so I can't update my bank account from a UK account to a US account. I chatted with a Ebay agent and was told to just open a new account. This isn't an option as I've been with Ebay for 19 years with this account. Seems like a overlooked feature/bug that needs to be resolved when an Ebay accountholder that's a seller moves from one country to another. There should be a flow to verify users who move so verification of new country bank account can be done.
Any suggestions to get this escalated?

I already tried to get a resolution from eBay agent (chat) as noted. Their option was to open a new eBay account instead.

I've asked eBay staff and it was no mistake, there is no other option than starting a new account.
I didn't add that this is unacceptable. I'm sure eBay knows.
