How to 'unlist' an item?

As I am new to this .  .  . how does a seller keep a listing from relisting automatically???  Thank you in advance for your advice!!!

You are using the Quick Listing Tool.  Before the listing relists, you go and END the listing.  With the QLT, ebay will relist that item 8 times for free.  You can upgrade to the advance/business tool to have more control over your listings.
