Hello Fellow eBay Sellers!
I need a little help, please. I am new to offering several of the same items. The listing I am working on is for 4 plates. I have 12 in total and am selling them in groups of 4. Each group of 4 weighs 5.9 lbs. I am offering a discount for buying more than one set of 4 but I need to learn how to calculate the shipping for the buyer to pay. I read some of the previous replies to similar questions but I must be slower than most because I cannot seem to figure it out. Would someone please explain what to do as if you were teaching a 70-year-old? (I am 64, LOL, but if I ask you to teach it like you would a 3rd grader, they already know how to do everything on the computer! Haha!)
I would be deeply appreciative for step by step instructions, please. Thank you in advance for your time!

@gerbereg_lrhced The problem is that the box is going to be bigger the more they buy, this can GREATLY increase the postage price. You also run more of a risk of breakage trying to put too many plates in one box.
You can set up a flat or calculated shipping rule and apply it to the listing. The problem with a Calculated Shipping Rule is it's only going to combine the WEIGHTS.
I would charge buyers a FLAT price for shipping and X amount for each additional lot of 4
See this post with screen shots on how to set up flat shipping rule. Of course you choose the shipping prices and method, not media mail as in the example. >>
