How to sell other than to the high bidder

Before the bid ended I had an offer and accepted it.  I could not get in touch with ebay in any way to ask how

to cancel bidding before it could end.  Another person got the bid, but has not yet paid.  

What to do????

You wait 4 days to see if the winner pays.  If s/he doesn't you can cancel for non-payment.  If the offer was from another bidder you can make a Second Chance Offer to him/her at the amount of his/her highest bid (NOT some other amount).  If s/he didn't you can relist it with Best Offer and have him/her make an actual offer that eBay recognizes.

The winner has the claim to the item, not the offeror.

If you had the make offer option on your listing and accepted an offer then NO BIDS could have even been placed. And if you had bids on the listing then NO OFFER could have been placed for you to accept.
