I purchased a defective computer mouse. Seller doesn't respond to message request for refund. Ebay says it's beyond Seller refund window ( sent messages regarding issue within 30 days) so I tried to get to Ebay guaranty process for defective merchandise, no luck on finding a way to communicate with Ebay.
Can anyone suggest a method for getting to a human/Ebay to remedy this problem.

Sending messages within 30 days doesn't count. By 30 days you needed to hit the blue button "Return this item" which opens a case. The seller then has 3 days to provide a return label or a refund. If they don't you go back to the case and ask eBay for help.
If time has expired eBay won't help.
If you paid with PayPal go there and file a dispute or file a chargeback with your credit card.
