How to re-open a closed claim

I need to return an item that was damaged upon arrival. I started a claim and accidently closed it. I am needing to know how to re-open the claim so I can report it and start the process of getting a refund.

Usually once a claim is closed it can't be reopened, but you'll have to ask eBay about your situation - they have the final say. If eBay can't help, go to your payment source (PayPal, credit card) and open a return there instead. If you used PayPal sign up for their free return shipping program first before starting a claim.
