Hello Seasoned eBay Sellers! I'm taking over our company's eBay Admin work, and need assistance.
Is anyone able to succinctly inform me (step by step) how to move or change a previous Sold Listing of ours, from "Awaiting Shipment" to a completed status in Orders? Seeking a method not requiring me to inconvenience the wonderful customer who purchased the item online, then will-called, ***months ago***. As far as I can see, our respective Listing's 'Shipping and payments' tab was populated with "Ships To: Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping)." And, again, customer did pick the item up. We do have their eBay receipt manually signed, in our records.
I just read about QR codes eBay sends (to all?) Buyer(s), and, how to input that 6-digit code into the eBay app on someone's cell phone here on the Seller side (us). This can be included in our new will-call process, but need a solution for the above mentioned scenario. Gratitude in advance! -msv

In your list of sold awaiting shipment, select ‘mark as shipped’. You can’t mark it delivered, but you can mark it shipped, which should move it to paid & shipped.

Thank you, I selected the checkbox to the left of "Ready to ship", which enabled the "Shipping" drop-down above that. I selected "Mark as shipped" , after which I was presented w/the "are you sure.." mssg. I of course, selected "Mark as shipped" there.. and now see the following, above the Listing info:
"We couldn’t mark these orders as shipped. Please try again." Any ideas>

Plot thickens? I wonder if this applies to marking sales as shipped:
"Some of the search, sort by and bulk order actions may not be available for orders older than 90 days."

Yes, sorry, you really can’t do anything with orders older than 90 days. I would guess they still show as awaiting shipment because eBay recently changed things so you can view orders up to 2 years old. So nothing is aging off after 90 days the way they used to. Guess no one did a. ‘What if’ 🙂
You can archive them. All that does is take them off of the sold pages and onto the archived pages. It won’t mark them shipped. It does mean if you do an order search, you would have to remember to check archived orders. I’ve never had the need to look at an order more than a few months old where I could not see what I needed by looking at the payment record.
To archive them - view the orders in seller hub - try the awaiting shipment page first - https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:AWAITING_SHIPMENT - select the orders by checking the box on the left, then under more at the to select archive.

Ah, fantabulous (*dripping sarcasm*) 😜. Who designs these (non-scalable-)features, anyway??
Well, many thanks to you, for the assist. Doubtful it will be long before I'm seeking the unsearchable here again!

We have long asked for a way to play with upcoming changes, but I guess they think they have the right group of testers 😞
