How to issue partial refund

As a seller, I occasionally have a dispute that only requires a partial refund. However, when I review a dispute by a buyer, I'm only given the option of a full refund. This seems to only be the case once a dispute has been lodged. If no dispute has been filed, I can just go to my Seller Hub, look up the order and issue a refund in whatever amount I chose. I've been on the help pages for over an hour and have not found a solution. Thanks

How to issue partial refund

If it is a dispute and not an eBay case, the dispute is through the buyer's credit card company. There is no option on those to offer a partial refund. The buyer probably would not accept it anyway because in dispute cases the buyer virtually always receives a full refund and keeps the item.
