How to handle proof of delivery on a local pickup?

Does the buyer receive a Code that can be entered manually into my computer when they pick it up to prove that they have received item?  I work from a desk top and I don't know how to scan information into it. I am in my 70's and not advanced with technology. Please help.  I can print the order and have them sign for it but that doesn't really prove to ebay that it has been received so that I can get paid.

Here is what eBay recommends for proof of pickup:

I believe the eBay app is needed on a phone or tablet in order to either scan the QR code or to enter the numbers manually; there is nothing about using a desktop to do that.
