How to get the usps tracking number

Where do you go to find the real usps tracking number from the eBay tracking number? The strange eBay number showed up under tracking and I don’t know how to get the real usps number from eBay. The package is lost and I can’t get help from usps without their number. Thanks

@gpor_9141   The only "strange tracking number"  is the one for the eBay Standard Envelope for items $20 or under in select categories.  

I don't see any sold items on this ID.  Are you the buyer or the seller?  What is the item number?
