How to get payment on an item that was automatically cancelled

I had a sale that was automatically cancelled.  The buyer is still interested.  Do I have to relist the item or is there a way to resend the invoice?

You have to relist and the buyer purchases it again. Do not relist it if it was removed for a policy violation, unless you can correct the violation.

Since it was cancelled there wouldn't be a way to get paid through that original transaction.  You would need to relist.
