How to end a listing early with a bid due to problem in description?

First, cancel the bid(s) on the item here, you need the eBay Item number AND the Bidder's ID: Cancel buyer's bids | eBay

Next, use the pull down menu on the item and select End.  It will move to your Unsold file.  You can go there and Relist it for another Auction cycle.  Below is a link to the Help Pages on Ending a listing and it explains when Fees may be charged.

Be aware that the fees for Motor Vehicles are different than for most categories:  You owe the package fee regardless of the outcome (including ending early without a winner).      https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/motors-fees?id=4127

ETA:  You can still add  to the bottom of the description until 12 hours left to go even though you have a bid   https://cgi5.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISAPI.dll?AddToItemDescription&fromryilanding=2      Since sales of Motor Vehicles on eBay Motors is non-binding on either party there is not as much of a problem with doing so as there is in other categories.
