Custom lists can be deleted, but not the Watch List itself.
Go to the Watch List page using a desktop browser, use the Watchlist drop-down to reach any of your custom lists. On the list page in the upper left you should see a link to delete the entire list.
You may want to move any items on those lists to other lists before deleting the list itself.
