How to close a request to resolve an issue with a buyer that has already been settled?

 

I was notified that one of my buyers haven't received the item he bought from me.  I contacted him and he agreed to wait a few more days.  A couple days later he did receive it (his mail was late).  He's happy, yet I still get messages from eBay to resolve the issue.  What should I do?

How to close a request to resolve an issue with a buyer that has already been settled?

Respond to the request with the tracking that shows delivered. That should close the claim.

 

Or ask the buyer to close the case.  It will time out and close on its own after 21 days.
