I am trying to remove my debit card from the eBay system. I want to use my credit card for payment and my bank account for payouts.
I do have an individual account with eBay and by mistake my debit card was used for payments and for payouts. Ebay keeps my money for days (8days last transaction) and then charges me $2 for speedy payout. Now I want to use my bank account for payouts. First eBay told me my bank account is a mismatch and now eBay rejects my bank account as it has to "must match" I verified my personal info is identical on all records, also verified the bank info. I had used this same bank account on eBay with a different user id for years but I had no debit card listed then. Ebay customer service can't tell me what I have to match to. Do I have to close my account in order to get this debit card out of this system ?
