Hi everyone! I’m working on optimizing my eBay store, focusing on improving my metrics like impressions, CTR (click-through rate), and STR (sell-through rate). I’d like to understand how to properly analyze the performance of my products and what a "normal" impressions level might look like across different product categories.
What are the key criteria you use to evaluate product success? (Aside from CTR and STR, are there other metrics that provide helpful insights?)
What’s the minimum impressions level for a product to consider it getting enough visibility? Is there an average impressions range that’s useful to evaluate product performance in different niches?
How do you compare metrics between products in your store? Do you use spreadsheets to track CTR/STR across all products, or perhaps any third-party analytics tools?
How often do you review and update items that aren’t performing as expected? Generally, how long do you give new listings before deciding to adjust the price, change photos, or replace the product?
I’d be grateful for any advice or links to resources where I can learn more. I’m really interested in making the most of eBay’s analytics, as I’ve realized that reviewing my products regularly helps me make timely adjustments and keep my store competitive.
Thank you for your help!
