How soon are refunds noted on my sold list?

I had to refund a payment to a successful bidder due to a listing error. I always used PayPal. I have done this before and immediately my sold listing indicated it was refunded with the arrow superscript. However, in the current instance, I reimbursed the bidder two days ago and I have yet to see that eBay acknowledges it.
When is the "Payment Was Refunded" arrow to show on my sold listing?
