How many days do I have to open a request?

A month ago I won an auction. I bought a lululemon jacket, that was described as "very good condition". When I received it, I knew right away that the condition wasn't very good. It should be described as good with some signs of wear like pilling etc. I should have done sth about it right away, but I didn't. I got busy with life, family, work etc. Anyway, it has been 30 days ago, can I still open a case or request ( I don't even know how to handle it since it never happened to me)? How much time does a buyer have for ebay protection in cases like this?
