How does the shipping work?

How do you pay for shipping? Does the customer pay on top of the bid amount or does it come out of the final price?

How does the shipping work?

When shipping is stated in the listing, the buyer pays that shipping along with the final price. The seller then arranges and pays for shipping —either directly to the carrier or to eBay when purchasing a label through eBay.

I see that your heat press is listed with USPS calculated economy shipping, and would cost almost as much as the item itself to ship across country, so I assume your buyer is in a nearby state.  I am also assuming that your earlier buyers abandoned the purchase after realizing how hefty the shipping charge was.

USPS rates work well for items under 4 or 5 pounds, and for buyers with a PO Box or APO. Heavy items are often more economical to ship using UPS ground or FedEx ground. I would recommend entering the weight and dimensions (all rounded up) of the boxed item into eBay's shipping calculator to offer the most economical transport to your buyer.
