We used to be able to list items with bar codes and I don't see any options or search results for this.

@traderoutetravels This works great on the cellphone app.
The best way to list items with UPC bar codes is to use the cellphone APP. I am not one to recommend the app very often and rarely use it myself since it lacks some features that I need, but it is great for this. It will fill in the stock photo, title, item specifics for you. You might want to add a bit to the title to help with search, sometimes it's a bit short. A stock photo can be your only photo if the item is NEW or is book or DVD. It is always best to add your own photo so buyers know you have the item on hand and ready to ship.
It is fast and easy to list items with barcodes on the App. Below are the steps to scan a bar code using the eBay app:
1. Go to home on your app
2. Tap the Selling button
3. Tap the List an item button
4. Tap the funny-looking square on the upper right where you can type a title to search
5. That square opens a scan option
6. Scan your bar code with your phone
7. Select the item from the list
8. Choose the condition
9. Add your own photo too if you wish. It will need to be jpeg and not heic which is the default for iPhones.
Finish your listing by filling in the description and note any flaws, damage to the package, scratches, etc.
