How do i talk to a agent

The article " When can Ebay Step in" states that after 3 days Ebay can step in. It has been 3 days and if I go to the item, it states that I have to wait until the 11, that would be 4 more days before I can get a refund. I purchased this on Dec 21, 2024 at 7:46 AM. They have not shipped it and they have not responded to 3 messages that I have sent to them.

I'm assuming you're the buyer, and are trying to get eBay to step in on a case for an Item Not Received?  Did the seller provide a tracking number in the case?  If so, and if there has been any activity on the case, it's normal for that timeframe to be extended before you can ask eBay to step in.  If they did not provide a tracking number and you'd like to expedite the process, you can reach out to eBay via the Help & Contact link and chat with an agent or request a callback if that's offered.

@jkle379184 It is 3 FULL business days so you won't see the option to ask eBay to step in until the 4th business day.   So you should see the option to ask eBay to step in tomorrow.  

   "Been more than " are the keywords>>

 We can step in if it's been more than 3 business days since you requested a return or reported an item hasn't arrived.

Thank You, I will try and contact them tomorrow.  It was past 3 days as of 5 hours ago. The seller ghosted me, has not shipped and has not responded to any Emails.

I purchased back on the morning of Dec 21st, No tracking, no response to 3 Emails etc. Ebay's chat room is a loop and does not have a link to a agent.  Ebay's " When can Ebay Step in" article states that "after" 3 days they can step in. The problem is if you look at the item, it just states after the Jan 11th Ebay can issue a refund. that would be 7 days.

The Money was refunded today. Sadly the seller took a couple of other buyers money and also did not ship the items in the mean time.
