How do I turn off automatic cancellation if buyer needs more than 4 days to make payment? The buyer wants to make payment on May 1st and is a repeat buyer.

You can turn off Automatic Cancel here

(I leave mine off, it's easy to cancel for non-payment manually if/when needed)

You don't need to turn it off.  Simply add the user to the Buyer Exemption List at the bottom of the page where you enable or disable it:  https://www.ebay.com/Cancel/Preference/UnpaidPurchase
