How do I track an item that has shipped but has no tracking #? I have item# and dateof purchase only

All other copaneys can track with order # and purchase date. Why can't Ebay? I really do not want to bother the shipper, with this. Thanks Larry R.

if the seller didn't provide a tracking number, there's no way to track it.

Ebay doesn't require the seller to provide a tracking number or let you know if it has been shipped.

All that's important is the estimated delivery date that Ebay gave you.

A day after the estimated delivery date Ebay gave you, if you don't have your order, open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
