How do I get email alerts when an item I'm looking for goes up for salw?

I'm watching for a certain item that is somewhat rare and seldom comes up for sale. I'd like to receive an email notification when an example of this item has been listed for sale.  How do I set my account up to notify me when said item has been listed for sale?

Create a search that will find the item if one is listed, then save the search using the "save this search" link at the top of the search results.
