How do I get combined shipping on multiple offers from the same seller?

A seller has five items I want.

The seller has offered me a discount on all five.

To accept the offer and purchase these items at the discount price,

I am forced to accept offers one at a time, then EBay sends me directly to checkout,

Can’t get combined shipping when you accept offers ONE ITEM AT A TIME!!

THEN I CANNOT GET COMBINED SHIPPING!

Am I missing a step here?

is there a workaround?

@maryqueenofgraphics   The seller MUST counter with a lower best offer if they wish to offer a shipping discount.  That's the ONLY way to combine shipping for offer items.  

Otherwise you have to pay and then hope the seller refunds you the extra $ for shipping which eBay can not force a seller to do.
