Hi! I bought an item that went through the Authenticity Guarantee and failed the process. I received a message that I would be given a refund, but no details on how and why the item failed. Is there some way to find out this information? There has been no word from the merchant. Thanks!

Only the seller will find out why the item failed the authenticity guaranty and they are not obligated to inform the buyer of the reason for the failure. You can try contacting the seller and asking but they do not have to tell you.

Sometimes authentication fails because the person authenticating might disagree with the item condition.
They were failing authentic Gucci sneakers as being too worn when they were intentionally made to look destroyed.
