How do I file a claim against eBay, or do I have to go to small claims?
Last night, before sending an invoice, I selected FedEX Ground (two options and their prices) and the total came up correctly. But, I had to overwrite the default $48 for UPS Ground to do that. Yet, the buyer said they selected UPS Ground, free of charge.
Despite what the instructions state, I was unable to:
'go to either My eBay or Seller Hub and find the item. From there, select “Send invoice” and make any necessary changes to shipping charges or payment methods. Then, select “Send invoice” to complete the process. In My eBay, you can find the “Send invoice” option under “Awaiting payment”. In Seller Hub, you can find the option under "Orders"'. There is no way to do what they state and send another invoice.
Hence, I just had to pay for shipping from my own pocket. I saw on 60 Minutes what eBay did to some sellers, but it seesm now their is some incompetence on their part.

Not sure what you are going to sue for... It sounds like you are just confused.
You only offered USPS shipping on your listing, so you should have sent via that method. There was no free shipping offered on the listing. There was no need to send an invoice unless you were combining shipping for multiple purchases to pass along a discount.
