I assume you wish to change this new account to a business account in order to sell on eBay. First step is to start a listing. When you attempt to publish the listing, eBay will save your listing to a draft and will take you to the account profile page where you can select the type of business entity you would like to use for selling.
eBay will ask for the name of your legal business entity, or will ask if you are a sole proprietor acting as a business. You will be required to provide the federal ID for your business (EIN, SSN, etc), and your date of birth as the stakeholder in the account, etc. If the business is acting under a legal or DBA business name, a stakeholder in the business must provide individual credentials. Also, the business name used to create the eBay account must match the business name used on the bank account that will be attached to selling, and that will receive payments from buyers.
