How do I cancel an approved refund request

How do cancel an approved refund request.  I sent a buyer their product and received a notice today that they want to cancel their order because the product was damaged.  At first I thought that it was damaged in the mail.  But the more questioning I do it sounds like the person who bought it might have damaged the product.

You can not cancel a refund.  If you selected 'refund buyer now', the refund was issued and the return closed.

I assume you mean the buyer opened a return request, since you can't cancel a transaction once it is shipped.
