I got a purse on eBay but didn’t get on with it so I relisted it for sale. It was removed by eBay as I said I had no authenticy paperwork for it so they removed it as a fraudulent or counterfeit item. It was not removed when I got it from the original seller on eBay and although it was listed as genuine, I was not given anything to prove it so I was honest in my post. How can they just remove it when as far as I am aware it is not counterfeit? Can I even appeal this?

Buyers and sellers in the UK can take advantage of eBay's Authenticity program when the purse is listed or sold for £500 or more:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/selling-tools/ebay-authenticity-guarantee?id=4644
However, sellers are not allowed to speculate about the authenticity or legality of an item, so that is probably why your listing was pulled. The UK policy is here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/counterfeit-item-policy?id=4276
It says: "Do not list an item if you are not certain it is authentic or if an authenticator has been unable to confirm its authenticity."
