How can I stop messages in ebay from entering my personal email address?

And before you tell me to go to  Account - Seller Account - Communication Preferences - I did that and nothing was selected.  

I even called eBay customer service and they were stumped!  

It started randomly one day and I don't know why.  Every message that is send to me thru eBay goes direct to my personal email and it's very frustrating, I can't stop it.  Can anyone help?

The easiest way to stop those emails from reaching your personal inbox is to provide eBay with a different email address other than your personal email for all those messages to be sent to, and then use that email as your registered email address with eBay.

Slightly harder would be to set up a filter so that those eBay messages are sent to another folder or forwarded to another email address and avoid your personal inbox that way.

If you are receiving messages from members, check under Delivery Options as well -- you can provide a destination email address specifically for eBay messages.
