I received a returned of pair of shoes. The original listing required buyer to pay return shipping. I guess I technically do not have to reimburse the shipping. However, as a courtesy I am willing to do so as the buyer felt the shoes ran large. Ebay return process will not allow me to return the shipping amount to the buyer. Is there a way to do this?

If eBay is not directly allowing you to, then you won't be able to.
The only other option would be to refund the buyer by either mailing them a check for the shipping to their address you already have, or via PayPal. However eBay frowns on transactions outside of their system, so keep that in mind too. I have done this in the past. I refunded a buyers return shipping by mailing them a check for the amount. I have also reimbursed a buyer using PayPal, but only after I contacted them via their number that was included in the transaction.
How you want to handle it is entirely up to you though.
