How can I make the handling times longer on my listings?

I am a small brand with my own clothing designs and I get my designs custom made. However, it takes about 12 days on average for my items to be made, to do a quality check that I package and ship out myself (no dropshipping), and items then get delivered to my customers - within those 12 days. How can I change on my listings the handling time to a longer date so that I am not penalized for late shipping? Right now I only see the option for 3 days handling time?

If you cannot select a handling time longer than 3 days, I suspect you are using the Quick Listing Tool.  You will need to switch to the advanced/business tool, which allows you to select a handling time up to 30 days, and gives you more control over your listings.  That option is in the upper right corner the next time you go to create a new listing.
