There are sellers located in China who are shipping from China.
There are sellers located in China who are shipping chinese goods from a US warehouse.
There are sellers located in China who are shipping US goods from a US warehouse.

There are sellers in the US who are shipping chinese goods from a US warehouse.
If you simply do not want to wait for items to arrive from China, then set your shipping distance filter to 3000 miles and specify items located within the US only. This filter looks at the item location stated in the listing. If the seller misstates the location, which is a policy violation, and tracking shows an international origin, you can report the listing.
If you don't want to receive goods made in China, about the only approach is to avoid lower cost items. While you could look at the "Item Specifics" in each listing for "Country of Manufacture", I think most sellers do not provide accurate information, so that is not very reliable.
