I recently sold a cash register and the buyer already paid for the shipping. When I went to print the label I noticed the “ship from” address is my old address from another state. It won’t let me edit it. Do I need to have this changed? Will it change the shipping rate? How can I fix it?

@misssarahdale2012 You should be able to edit the ship from address on the label page as long as you have not already paid for the label. You just can't edit the buyers address or you lose seller protection for tracking proof of delivery.
The ship from address must be correct in order for the postage you are purchasing to be correct.
1. Here's how to update your addresses in account settings>
Other members have reported that the address correction is not "sticking" unless they do these steps>
ADD a new address and THEN delete the old one in account settings. Be sure to update ALL of the shipping addresses.

2. Once you complete that step you should also update the item location on active listings.
How to use bulk edit:
1. Go to this active listings page : https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2. Put a checkmark next to all items.
3. Select edit from the top of the list
4. Select all items again
5. Select edit fields on the upper left> location> edit and submit
3. AND back to your label issues...... If you can not update the ship from location you will need to Cancel the Shipping label and buy a new one AFTER you update your addresses as stated in steps 1. and 2.
You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>
https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub
Then the postal service will refund you in about 3-4 weeks on your all transactions page here>

The sold item will have two tracking numbers so be sure to let the buyer know which tracking number to watch. You can not remove the extra tracking number.
