Help with something disturbing.

so I sold 22 dolls to someone and I had pictures of every single one and they were all in excellent condition. It was $300 buy it now. The package was shipped out immediately priority mail they got the package and then they sent me a picture of one of the dolls and said there was an ink number written on the leg and they sent me a picture.   I know for sure that that was not a picture of one of my dolls.and in the picture I posted in the auction you can see the doll is perfect. But it seems that eBay always seems to lean towards the buyer and give them the benefit of the doubt. What do I do before this even turns into an issue. What do I do to protect myself from someone that has perhaps sent a false picture of one of their old dolls and say that it’s one that I sent ??? I appreciate any input? Thank you!

Help with something disturbing.

Did you ask the buyer to review the picture in the listing?

Did buyer open a  Return Request?

You can tell the buyer if this was from mail tampering you will report it to the postal inspectors and local police and would they please cooperative with the investigation and have the doll available for inspection.  This often makes the problem go away.

Otherwise, if you don't want to offer a partial refund for the one doll, accept the return request and do not refund until all items are received.  If not the doll you sent, you then can report the buyer and appeal the refund.
