I relisted an item through "sell similar" in error. I revised the listing but unknowingly set up a new listing. Both sold within seconds. I honored the purchase that came through first. The second buyer was obviously upset with me. I immediately refunded the second buyer in full and offered a free item as I was at fault. However, I'm still seeing that "Item is ready to ship". The buyer sees the cancellation and refund.
I am concerned that I've made yet another error. Not having a business account, how do I get rid of the "ship now"? When I choose "cancel", a message appears stating that I cannot cancel as a refund has already been made. Please advise. Does this just take time to process and disappear or do I need to do something through my account?

In the future, you select Cancel order. Part of that process is to refund the buyer in full.
In the past, if a seller were to refund the buyer using Paypal, and then went to ebay to file a Cancellation, in order to get the seller's FVF credited, ebay would know the buyer was refunded and not send another refund. Since we are now in Managed Payments, I'm not sure how refunding first, and then cancelling, would work. Apparently, ebay says you can't refund first, and then file a cancellation?
Has the status changed yet on that sale?

Thank you for your response. The status looks like it has changed. I ended up marking it as “shipped” (previously cancelled and refunded). Hoping this it it. I appreciate your input.
