Hello eBay Community,
I ordered an item on July 4th and didn't realize it never delivered until late August. Ugh. eBay told me they can't help as this is now outside 30-days. I've reached out to the seller multiple times asking if the item shipped, can they ship another one, or refund the purchase. 4 messages over two weeks, with no reply. Radio silence.
eBay recommend I contact my credit card. Again, ugh. I hate to go through all of that. But I reached out to them tonight and they're looking into what they can do for me. As I'm gathering screenshots to share, I can see the seller still has 7 of these items available for sale.
My question, is it wrong of me to expect eBay to step in here? I understand my tardiness for reporting the item, I reached out to the seller on 8/26 once I realized the item never delivered (Purchased on 7/4). But the fact that the seller is still selling these items and has ignored my messages frustrates me.
How would you proceed?

Hi @adhack
There is nothing eBay can do for you now. You needed to act within 30 days of the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History. If you paid through PayPal, you could have opened a case there, but now that you have contacted your credit card company, PayPal can't help you now either.
At this point, continue to work with your credit card company.
