Help using International Credit Card but US based shipping address.

Hi I live outside the US . I would like to add my international Credit Card into my Ebay account to purchase items as I normally do. But my shipping address is US Based . To be honest it is a US Based Shipping Forwarder Located in Miami, Florida that handles all my US shipments and deliver it to my country. Can you all tell me if i am able to set that as my default shipping address without having my purchases declined ? Thanks.

Help using International Credit Card but US based shipping address.

eBay should have no problem if you set your default shipping address to a freight forwarder. However, some credit cards require the billing address or postal code for verification. So, your eBay registration address should be the physical billing address that your card requires for online transactions.

When sellers block sales outside of the US, eBay's system looks at the shipping address, so your forwarder would not be blocked. However, if a seller looks at your registered address, they would see that you are buying from outside of the US.  Some sellers are afraid to sell internationally and will find a way to cancel the sale, even if it ships to Florida.

If you are in a country that allows PayPal, another method would be to link your card to your PayPal account and then use PayPal checkout. Your PayPal account would then carry a billing address that matches your credit card requirements and you could use your Florida address on your eBay registration. However, you would never be able to sell on eBay with an unverified registration address in Florida, so it is really best to put your true info in your eBay registration.
