I remember another reason Ebay gave me the best 8 years of my life: you can reach them! ...and I thought: try the community _ because this account is kind of a Gail Mary, to escape an abusive landlord, who suddenly is kicking me to the curb tomorrow.  I just need a kinda expert?  They will get free concerts for life: I'm kind of, a rock star 😉

Try signing in using the email address of that account as your username.

If you are using the same browser on the same computer that you have used in the past to sign in to that account, see if the browser remembers your sign-in credentials. Sign out of your current eBay account (write down the current username first), erase any username info in the sign-in field, then click on the blank username field to see if the browser suggests any past usernames.
