HOW TO GIVE DISCOUNT OR PARTIAL CREDIT TO A BUYER.

I have someone buying two of the same items from me. It cost $12 to ship one and $14 to ship two. The buyer was charged $12 and $12. I want to credit them $10. How can I do that?

HOW TO GIVE DISCOUNT OR PARTIAL CREDIT TO A BUYER.

Depends on if the buyer has paid yet or not.  If they have then you have to issue a refund for the amount.  Find one of the items on your sold list and click on refund from the drop down menu.  Be careful as eBay has a tendency to default to the entire amount so you have to input the desired amount.  You do not get a refund of the final value fee applicable to the refund unless you refund the entire payment.

If the buyer has not yet paid you find one on the items on your sold list and from thee drop down menu click on revise invoice.  This will combine both invoices and you can adjust the shipping charge and send a new invoice to the buyer.
