HELP - RETURN SHIPPING LABEL

Hi ebay community, 

I listed an item that was damaged, and I did not notice it but the buyer did. I refunded the transaction but cannot find where to send a prepaid shipping label to get my product back. 

I see that eBay says you send an eBay shipping label, but I cannot find this on my dashboard.  Also, can you I purchase the prepaid return shipping label from ebay ?

When the buyer files a Returns Request, you accept the return, and that triggers the prepaid return shipping label to be sent to the buyer to print out.  If you refund first, there will be no shipping label, as you are telling the buyer that you do not want the item back.

What you can do now is go to pirateship.com to print out a return shipping label, once you have contacted the buyer and s/he agrees to return the item.  I believe you need to save the label as a PDF and then send to the buyer in a message.

Thank you for the response. I am very disappointed in myself for not asking the community first on what to do in case of a return & refund.  

Looks like I will have to eat the cost of this.
