Getting emails with dollars rather than pounds sterling and I’m in the uk

Hello. I have contacted ebay about this before but I keep getting emails about items I’ve looked at and even am watching but they come in dollars and link to the item on the US site but I’m in the uk. The items are all uk items. 
don’t know how to address this. Have searched settings etc. Thanks in advance.
