Getting a Refund for an Item that has not Shipped

I want to get a refund for an item that has not shipped, but eBay says it’s too late. I made the purchase a week ago and the seller is unresponsive. What do I do?

Getting a Refund for an Item that has not Shipped

There is no way for you to know whether the seller shipped or not because not all sellers ship through eBay and/or post a tracking #. And even if a tracking # is posted, if they don't get an acceptance scan, the first scan may not be until delivery.

 

When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
