Does E-Bay allow Fraud, I have just purchased three rocks from a seller who listed them as Purple Amethyst.

The wife opened all three packages today to gift wrap them as a birthday present. Purple paint came off on her hands and all three items smelled of enamel paint. The Seller is painting white quartz rocks and selling them on E-Bay as Purple Amethyst. The Seller is committing fraud and using E-Bay to deceive buyers into purchasing a certain item only to find they purchased something completely different.

 I would hope E-Bay would step in and suspend this sellers account. Jim

Request a return (item not as described). Wait for a return label. The Chinese seller has a location in the VS.
