How do we contact ebay if we believe someone was trying to scam us into selling them an item?

Keep all correspondence =ON= ebay.  Do not reply to any text messages asking for your phone number or Paypal email address.  Those are ways to get your contact information in order to send you a real looking, but fake, message telling you that you have been paid.  You can copy/paste the message and send it to scam@ebay.com

The email: scam@ebay.com does not work - got my email kicked back saying it is not an actual email address.
