Forced to change password at every login

Every time I login to the website I enter what I know to be my username and password. Error message indicates: "oops that's not a match." Then I have to go through the password reset including answering an email and then a text. I enter a new password and do my stuff. Next time I try to login it's the same story all over again. This has been going on for weeks!

If you are using a hotspot or a VPN, that may be causing issues for you. Try connecting to eBay using a regular network connection. If you are using privacy software, try temporarily disabling it.

If you are using a bookmark to reach eBay, try using a different link instead. Try going directly to ebay.com and signing in there. Or bookmark your Watch List or Summary page.

Otherwise, try using a different browser, or the eBay app to sign in to eBay and see if that works any better for you.

Or try a different device, to rule out a device issue or a problem with a flakey keyboard key.

If you have more than one eBay account, try the other account to see if it has the same issue.
