Forced return

Why is it so impossible to reach someone to speak to this is the most ridiculous situation I have ever heard. I do not accept returns and you forced me to accept a return of a brand new item that was supposedly only so much left just 25% of it left. Yeah I don’t sell items that are brand new and half used That’s ridiculous and you forced me to accept this return now they’ve damaged my product it’s no longer brand new and I did not approve this return I want my money back. It is impossible to reach you guys. It never used to be you have all this gatekeeping that you can’t get through no matter how hard I try I send emails nobody responds. I’m sick of this I’m going to be leaving Ebay even though I’ve been with you since the very beginning before you were even a public company  But now all you care about is the buyer not the seller I do not accept return returns. I want my money back you do not get to force me to accept the return return and then take the money from my account that is wrong and if you plan to do something like that, then you need to contact me on the phone in person not just whoop we took it right out. We don’t care what you have to say. Only this the buyer has any rights that is wrong  Not acceptable in any way shape or form now I have a product that was brand new and now is damaged and I want my money back. Somebody needs to respond to me. I’m getting really tired of this runaround but I can tell you this Ebay will no longer be my choice for selling or buying and I will be putting it on my YouTube telling people to avoid Ebay at all costs, especially if you are a seller  of this Needs to get in touch with me that can get me my money back and can tell me why you’re able to just do whatever you want with my account without any regard to me

Forced return

@chaneldragon Sorry this is not what you want to hear but this is the eBay Money Back Guarantee rules that you agreed to when you started selling.

If the buyer files a refund request saying that the item is not as described then you need to accept the return and issue the return shipping label.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrules your returns policy.   Your return policy only applies if the buyer files a buyer's remorse return:  Doesn't fit, changed mind, etc.

If you do not accept the return willingly then the buyer can ask eBay to step in and forces a refund. You do not get your seller's fees back, you get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.

If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/report-issue-buyer?id=4084&st=12&pos=3&quer...

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater returns.  The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.

Seller protection:
