I sold a replacement lithium battery and specified Free Economy Shipping in the auction. Federal law prohibits air shipping of lithium batteries. However, the purchase shipping label app forced Priority Mail with no way to override, no way to correct. Now I'll have to buy the actual ground postage when I get to the Post Office.
That will mean eBay's fees, the worthless label and real postage will cost me more money than I received from the seller at action close. In other words, yet another net loss for a seller. Is this always the way eBay treats sellers? Is this normal?

When you go to print the shipping label, you can indeed change the shipping service to ground advantage, which is a ground service. Try going to your
Seller Hub > Orders > All orders
Locate that one order, and select to Print Another Label. I am assuming you printed the priority label. If you didn't, then proceed to print the label, and you should be able to change the level of service. Under SERVICE, click USPS and your options will show up.

Did that and the site did not allow it.
